Off-Campus Opportunities
During their junior and senior years, students prepare for college, career, and life beyond high school through advanced coursework and off-campus capstone experiences aligned to their School of Success pathway. Opportunities include Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses, Work-Based Learning, Cooperative Education, internships, and Senior Seminar. Depending on the pathway, juniors and seniors may participate in off-campus learning at the FWCS Career Academy, while seniors may also attend Amp Lab to gain real-world, hands-on experience in professional settings.
Off-Site Pathway Opportunities
Amp Lab
FWCS Amp Lab is a half-day, hands-on, project-based learning program for high school seniors, located at Electric Works. It focuses on entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, allowing students to work on real-world projects with local businesses. The goal is to prepare students for college, careers, or starting their own ventures through collaboration and critical thinking.
FWCS Career Academy
The FWCS Career Academy serves high school juniors and seniors who choose hands-on, off-site learning opportunities that go beyond the traditional classroom. These programs are designed to give students real-world experience in their chosen field.
